Talking about the Futureย is tough. Mainly because today I don’t see much change where there needs to be changed. So I guess I’m taking the beautiful roses I see everywhere here in Sacramento as inspiration to my current lack of optimism.

Roses have a certain cycle, they spend most of their life looking like nothing is going on. They stand still, they move with the wind, they go about their daily life as roses just waiting for their time to bloom. Once spring arrives, they color the world and share their beauty with all around them. I guess I’m waiting for my own spring to arrive.
